# DAO Structure

The DAO structure is described as a smart-contract based system for proposals, voting, and implementation.

## Core functions

* Proposal submission by token holders
* Validator onboarding and removal through community oversight
* Treasury allocation decisions
* On-chain transparency for activity and outcomes

The whitepaper also notes that the governance framework may evolve over time through delegated governance, quadratic voting, or funding councils.
