# Governance and DAO

Tetreum describes a DAO-driven governance model in which TET holders can participate directly in protocol evolution.

The DAO is intended to handle:

* Protocol upgrades
* Treasury and funding decisions
* Validator oversight
* Ecosystem and partnership decisions

The goal is to keep decision-making transparent, auditable, and aligned with community incentives.
