# Vision and Mission

Tetreum describes itself as a blockchain project built to challenge a status quo in which scalability, governance, and usability are often compromised.

The project aims to create a self-sustaining ecosystem of applications and community-led governance, supported by an architecture that emphasizes performance, accessibility, and economic sustainability.
